Leadership Opportunity from the Arcus Foundation

February 17, 2015

Good news for Federation members from the Arcus Foundation! They have announced that applications are now being accepted for the 2015 Arcus Leadership Fellowship.

Formerly known as the Arcus LGBT Leadership Initiative (ALLI), the leadership fellowship is a year-long leadership development opportunity open to early-stage executive directors of LGBT and allied non-profit organizations based in the United States.

The program will match 10 Arcus Leadership Fellows with mentors who have had successful careers in similar leadership positions. Arcus fellows will receive personalized support and experienced counsel from their mentors as they meet a variety of challenges facing them in their day-to-day work and build on their leadership abilities.

Arcus fellows gain access to personalized support and experienced counsel from mentors as they meet a variety of challenges facing them in their day-to-day work and build on their leadership abilities. Fellows will also be invited to attend 1-2 goal-setting retreats paid for by the foundation.

Last year, Federation member and Equality NC Executive Director Chris Sgro was a part of the first cohort of this program. We hope even more Federation executive directors will take advantage of this great opportunity to work with and learn from one another!
