equality federation's Leadership Conference July 20-22, 2022 Minneapolis, MN Register Here FAQs The main conference begins on the evening of Wednesday, July 20, 2022, with our Opening Social and ends on Friday, July 22 evening with social events. Wednesday, July 20 is a day of members-only institutes. This conference is for Equality Federation members and organizations that partner with Equality Federation or our members. We welcome volunteers, staff, and board members from these organizations. Is there an Early Bird rate? The Early Bird deadline has passed. How much does it cost to attend the Conference (July 20-22, 2022)? Discounted rate: $150 Standard rate: $300 Sustaining rate: $545 Supporting rate: $700 Virtual rate: $50 We are able to offer various rates to accommodate the broad range of budgets that our members and national partners have to attend our amazing conference. Choose the rate that works best for you. Discounted rate: We suggest the discounted rate if any of the following apply to you. You are: - Staff or board of a member organization with a budget less than $250,000 - Staff or board of a member organization sending multiple people (four or more) - A primary or lead presenter on a workshop at the conference Standard rate: We suggest the standard rate if any of the following apply to you. You are: - Staff or board of a member organization with a budget between $250,000-$750,000 - A primary or lead presenter on a workshop coming from an organization with a big budget - From a partner organization with a limited budget Sustaining rate: This is the true per-person cost to host this virtual event. By registering at this level, you support the sustainability of the Leadership Conference by paying the actual per-person cost. We suggest the sustaining rate if any of the following apply to you. You are: - From a partner organization with a budget of over $750,000 - Staff or board of a member organization with a budget over $750,000 Supporting rate: We suggest the supporting rate if you or your organization are able to offer financial support to other attendees. Supporting our work at this level allows us to offset the cost of attendance for all-volunteer organizations and organizations with budgets less than $250,000. Your support at this level helps us support the amazing work of the state-based movement at all levels. Virtual ticket rate: This includes full access to the conference app, with games & prizes and numerous networking opportunities, real-time plenaries, and one all-virtual workshop. What kinds of workshops can I expect to see at the Conference? Our workshops will include skills-focused, legislative trends, racial justice in our work, and more! We welcome the joy and awkwardness of being together for the first time in a long time. Come as you feel comfortable. Where will the Conference be held? The Graduate Minneapolis Hotel in Minneapolis, MN. Register for the conference to get your link to book a fantastic rate by June 28th. What if I need financial assistance? We are hopeful our tiered registration options will offer a wide enough option range. However, if they do not please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org. What will happen if COVID numbers rise again? We will be constantly monitoring the situation throughout the next few months. We will determine mid-June if we will continue to host the conference in person or switch to a virtual event. If we switch to virtual, our dates will stay the same: July 20-22. When buying plane tickets please consider buying flexible and/or refundable tickets. What will your COVID safe protocols be? We will be following CDC, state, and local guidelines for safe COVID practices. At this time that means all attendees will be required to be vaccinated/boosted and wear N95/KN95/KN94 masks during the conference. How can I help other members and partners cover the cost to attend?
