Initial Report Available from LGBT Donor Research Project

August 22, 2013

It's one of the most common questions we're asked: How do state groups grow the number of LGBT people financially supporting our work?

And now, we have some real answers. Or, at least, the beginning of some real answers.

Propelled by data showing that only 5% of LGBT people are giving to our community’s organizations -- our partners at the LGBT Donor Research Project have been searching for ways to increase the number of donors investing in LGBT groups.

At a recent webinar, the research team shared some preliminary insights from the focus groups they've conducted across the country. Federation members who were unable to attend the webinar can request the presentation from Fenton Communications.
