The Communications Director is a full-time position which will set and guide the strategy for all communications, websites, and public relations messages and collateral to consistently articulate Equality Florida's mission and brand. You hold the voice of Equality Florida in your hands and must be a master storyteller.

The Director of Communications will also ensure that marketing and communication tasks are processed through the Communications Department and will manage the team including an Online Communications Manager, an Email Marketing Coordinator, a Graphic Design Coordinator, a Press Relations Subcontractor, and various vendors, volunteers and interns. The ideal candidate has a proven ability to produce results under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. He or she will have excellent organization and planning skills. This position is an excellent opportunity to engage in a historic time in the LGBT civil rights fight for equality. This virtual position reports to the CEO.
