Kavanaugh is an immense threat to the rights of LGBTQ people. A Supreme Court with Brett Kavanaugh will be far more likely to give a license to discriminate to business owners, health care providers, adoption agencies and others who object to LGBTQ people or to same-sex relationships, marriage, or parents. Kavanaugh could chip away at our hard-fought civil rights and threaten marriage equality for all.

President Trump nominated Judge Kavanaugh to fill Justice Anthony Kennedy’s seat on the Supreme Court. There is too much at stake health care, abortion, and LGBT rights for a judge like Brett Kavanaugh to occupy the critical swing seat on the Supreme Court.
