Mel is the Vice President of Operations at Equality Federation. In this role, Mel leads the new Operations team, the engine of our organization that keeps the day-to-day running smoothly. He and the Operations team support team culture, employee lifecycle management, technology and systems, and planning and evaluation across the organization.

Prior to joining the team in 2016, Mel spent four years at Empire State Pride Agenda, a former Federation member. He coordinated New York State’s LGBT Health & Human Services Network, a coalition of over fifty organizations around the state providing direct services to LGBTQ+ people.
