Garden State Equality is seeking a Director of Education and Youth Development, with the supervision and assistance of the Deputy Director, to oversee Garden State Equality’s Education and Youth Development programs.The Director will be responsible for managing the project life cycles of all but not limited to the following programs throughout the state of New Jersey: Changemakers Leadership Program, Youth Advisory Board, Educational, and Safe Schools Initiatives, and Educators for Equality. The Director will oversee the Education and Youth Development team to execute quality programming, while combating disparities LGBTQ+ youth face in extracurriculars and in their communities, while working to ensure that all students, teachers, families, and administrators are safe in their schools.
