EQMD is committed to doing all that we can to protect the rights and the dignity of transgender Marylanders. We have been fighting hard to extend protections on the basis of gender identity and expression in the state anti-discrimination law. We are committed to not only advocating on behalf of the transgender community, but also being good partners and working with transgender Marylanders to advance policies and create true and lasting equality. We are looking to hire a staff person to work with us on organizing, outreach and advocacy to build and enhance our initiatives.
